GST Council in its meeting on Saturday i.e. 18th Feb. 2017 at Udaipur has sorted out all the issues relating to CGST Bill , SGST Bill and IGST Bill and the final drafts of these bills shall be approved by the Council in its forthcoming meeting scheduled for 4th and 5th March . The Finance Minister also clarified that the Compensation Bill has also been finalized and there is no dispute relating to aforesaid bills and has briefed that all the Central Bills shall be put before the Parliament in the session starting from 9th March,2017 for the enactment . Similarly , he clarified that the SGST Bills shall be put before the legislatures of all the States to carry out the process of enactment . Thus the decks are cleared for the introduction of GST in India .
